how to i make wood with photo shop?i never know how lol

GFXartist.com is your friend for alot of tutorials, particularly with seamless textures. For wood, might I point you in the direction of spyroteknik.com for a good wood texture, tutorials section, tenth row down.

I'd suggest photoskinning any wood. Making wood from scratch can look goofy unless it's perfect. :D

Take a pic (good quality) of wood yourself or from the interweb (NO 30x20 pixels, 99% compressed JPGs :rolleyes:) and use them as a base for the wood. Then apply lightning and scratches and dents and whatever.

I remember you made a wood tutorial on the old forums. Can't you repost that? (If you can remember it at all)
