[Skin/Anim] K43 Klown Style

good evening,

it has come to my attention that the current default k43 is, what scientists call "teh suck".

so, in an effort to stop this current trend of "suck" i have taken it upon myself to reanimate this tradgedy of a gun, as well as give it a new wood skin(100% mine). it may or may not have matching metal, as my skills with metal making are sub par(one could argue my wood is such, but i think its decent). in this case, AJjer62nd's k43 metal will provide a superior stand-in.

i would have a movie of the animations, but i dare not approach a custom site to host a wip movie. but if somone wants to, pm me or post here.

here are 2 pics. both are quite large and at maximum detail. one is a render in milkshape 3d and the other one is an ingame screenshot.

so enjoy.. or wretch, whichever you feel comfortable with.

comments would be super. suggestions would be... ultra.. super..

anyway, THANKS FOR LOOKING!

[NOTE] i will not be doing a version of the k43 where it is reloaded by stripper clips. reasons being:
1. the bullets are in a staggard line like most clips are. i cant really see how a stripper clip could put bullets in this form.

2. as you may or may not notice, the clip is situated half below the sight, and half below the ejection port. which means there is not a direct route to the clip (which the stripper would require).

i just dont know how to do it so it would be logical. i would need references or somthing to be able to do this.

Just because it shows the bullets staggered on the skin doesn't mean that's how it is in real life. I know for a fact they can be reloaded by stripper clips. Good job none the less.

Some of the textures aren't aligned properly, but as it's a WIP, I'm not too worried about it.

:p

i can't say much about the animations, but after having seen the MP40 and the k98 you animated, im not that worried about that

For the skin, it looks super, i probaly be using the k43 again after this release...

Not much comments or suggestions, i know, but compliments should be made aswell about this.

Looks pretty good, but I think the metal might be a bit to dark.

He purposely didn't put them in clickable links because his host doesn't allow external linking.

/me wishes for a still Garand.

there is a very very slow breathing motion. its almost unnoticable unless you look for it.

yeah so my overall impression is that most people dont care. this gives me time to do stuff.. like finish my k98 animation and wood skin ;p

Straight vs. Staggered doesn't matter. The rounds would automatically wind up staggered inside the magazine anyway.
