You have to run the dod FGD through Quark.

I can't remember how I did it, I do remember it finding a misstake in the DoD FGD file though:D

If the thread doesn't get locked by IR I'll try to post some information about what I did, unless someone else tells you.

EDIT:

You can use the File > Convert From > Worldcraft .fgd file.

Follow the promps about editing it and it should work. It did for me.

Oh yes i downloaded a newer release of quark and now i can open fgd files that Quark can read.

Thanks for the help, you've got a good community on these forums, that arn't yet infected with hundreds of "MY 3RD MAP FY_*BLANK*" like on Counter-Map (my old mapping domain)

Now for some reason i only get 10 new entities, and non of them are allied_spawn axis_spawn etc no spawns or anything like that, is that normal bro?

Don't sound too normal, It just worked for me and I don't actully use Quark to map with :)

You need a Quark Expert for this, maybe try the Quark forums, I can't offer any more help with this one ... sorry.

Perhaps you could send me the dod.qrk file that you now have, if it is only missing one entity that would be "teh leet"

ummm

I think this is the offical dod v1.0 FGD.

Take a look and tell me what you think.

I do suggest you take a look at the Quark forums though, they should be able to help you.

man this is screwed up, for the past 7 hours i have attempted to configure QuArk to no avail son of a female dog, says i...

Can anybody out there gimme a hand?

HERES HOW I SET IT UP
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I put the directory that Quark looks for models/textures as dod\models (i know theres no tex's there) since it said it had to be a sub directory of the game executable

For the game directory i put "sierra\counter-strike\dod"
although there was no game exec in the folder...

--------------

Any help would be appreciated, i have not toyed with Configuring quark in over 2 years, and back then it was very nerve wracking

TIA
