Hey guys I know I said that my BoB v3 would be the last version of these guys but because I was so scarred by Sclass12's words and inspired by Cpt. Higgin's own BoB skin, I have decided to fix the textures and improve the skin itself, this will be a very long process and I'm asking you guys how much more I can improve this (if you can guess which is the original one and which is the new one) :)

Dude! That can't be improved! That ROX!!!!
Keep it up! By the way, keep making sprites too, coz your blood sprite rocked also.

Thanks, man. I'm working on some sprites and skins and I will make one big release of a combination of sprites and skins :)

Hmm, is the one on the right new? They look great, I'd definatly use them. I don't see anything that could be made better, but that's jsut my opinion.

The only way that they could be improved IMO is probably waaay too picky...

All of the BoB sets have the US flag on the sleeve removed. But if you actually look closely in the first episode while they are on the tarmac before the jump, they do have the flags but they are covered up with a dark OD piece of material that attaches under the shoulder strap then around the bicep. If you could skin that in there, or possibly even model it (look at the show, you'll see what I mean, it kinda sticks out.) that would finish the completely.

Like I said..... probably too picky lol

This is what I mean Lt. Firmalo... To make that look right it would probably have to be modeled in though.

The part I am talking about is circled.

Isn't that the gas-detecting thing?

It's called a gas detection brassard, and it was issued to all invading troops on D-Day. It would change color in the presence of chemical agents, and as far as I know it was only used during the D-Day invasion itself.

No, it simply covers up the US flag. Watch the first episode, you can see it very clearly and from many angles.

Didn't know the US was that advanced in WWII chemical detecting clothing? Well, should I put it on the skin or not? lol AFG you really have to be more specific than that :)

errrr, yes it was a chemical detecting thingy, it would change colors, i think yellow or sumtin. Oh, and lt. firmalo, notice the first aid thing on beside the chemical brassard, that might be good to add as well. How about making the uniforms olive? oh, and how about putting an entrenchment tool on his hip, here's a pic...

Yeah I see the 1st aid thingy. I'll see what I can do about those and I'll show you guys later btw if I change the uniform color then it wouldn't be BOB anymore. I think the model already has an entrenchment tool :)

Sorry guys I really tried but unfortunately without modelling it, the flag covering thingy and the first aid thing looked like they were printed on the uniform...:)

lol if I made them green and added the jackets, they wouldn't be BoB anymore! lol just thought I'd share this with you guys, I haven't played DoD for weeks aside from testing because I'm trying to finish the German campaign in Blitzkrieg. Awesome game (for what it lacks in graphics, it makes up for gameplay) :)
