Looking good so far, nice to see people still take time to do requests. But I could have sworn that those guy E company shot at were SS. Still, the heer logo on his helmet at least makes it sorta different. But it looks like its golden colored to me. And as I've learned, the Heer logo is identical to the logo of the Kreigsmarine, cept the Kreigsmarine logo is golden, the heer is silver.

So if you've decompiled the models, you might wanna use this texture for the decals. If its too big, resize it. I made this a while ago when I made Heer decals too, I just never released the Heer set.

Are those decals on backwards or did you mirror the image, because I'm pretty sure the shield is on the right side and the eagle+swastika is on the left side....

btw, what me and bishop have planed are these:
1) Remove all equipment from the guys, they are simply just going to be people in trench coats
2) The Unteroffizer has a Swastika armband that Devin put on; we decided to make that a bandage. It looks good too.
3) I personally want to try to relase a few new faces for these; i'll see how good my faces look.
4) These will be Wehrmacht, I personally think every set out there is nearly SS; its nice to see some Wehrmacht packs. If you want SS THAT BADLY i'll see about changing the decals

What we have done so far:
1) Recoloured the uniform, its now a solid feldgrau
2) Recolured the helmet, to more match the reffernce pics
3) Recoloured the pants, to match the refernce pics better

And edit: Yeah, the eagle looks golden, but its because its a photo-skin of those. I'll try to colour correct it in Photoshop.

The decals used in wwii for the wehrmacht eagle have a tendency to fade to an off-white or yellow color, some dealers even try to pass these off as kreigsmarine helmets or decals, which fetch a much higher price. You can tell kreigsmarine decals because they are quite obviously gold, and not yellow, and the eagle is slightly raised on the decal. That's your collector tip of the day, looking good with the reskin.

Are you sure about that?
Not many would like to see it, and itīs totally unrealistic.
But I guess I could do a little recolour by myself if I donīt like it. ;)

I donno, we both really like it, and its not really reskinable. Since you requested it, if you don't like the idea, we'll remove it

Here is a screenshot of it:

We know there is an issue with the coat allignement, thats one of the things holding us up.

I don't want to be a pain in the ass or something, but can you consider making one without badage?

HS The Whap

yeah, its not that much work, hopefully... lol

IMO I prefer the swastikas only on SS skins but I never use SS skins anyway. Good job on these BTW in the pics that Frontschwein posted, it frustrates me that those SS cowards didn't even fight back when they outnumbered the para troops :)

can't wait for release. Maybe once your done someone could convert these to para's so I can have them with my para allies.

Coleslaw

I bet he had one of those sigs, that you know, are illegal on these here forums. Not talking about pictures either.

Strider

He was protesting about someone else getting banned for defending his Grandparents or something...

I doubt that just because he was banned he stopped working on them. They seemed pretty much done...is anyone able to contact him?

These models are allready released, but the thread about it was deleted. It was possible for me to download these models before the thread was deleted, so if anyone wants them, give me your e-mail adress. :)
