Nice work mate. This would fit in very well with a WW1 player pack.

I made some WW1 allies a while back, i might have a go at some axis too when this comes out lol

Keep up the good work mate,

Ska

it wasn't a playable item but its an .rs file thats in there. Japanese items also. seems there is quite a bit in there not used in the demo.

Very nice work. I love it.

nice, but i have a question. whats the difference between model and mesh, cause you have skin speratly so I can't guess what you mean. i mean you don't mention animations. but i thought they were just called that.

I believe there is a Japanese weapon called the mp18 in the demo, it just looks quite a bit diffrent from BlackHeart73's model.

By the way, its looking great. :)

wow. if you need an animator you just slip it under the door babe... ;)

was intending to use the anims from Ripa's MP34 skinned by Polygon.

and you whine when mohaa steal a model .... :rolleyes:

Actually, they only "whine" when MOHAA steals a CUSTOM MADE model with out the Author's permission. You can take from anygame aslong as the game developers have made it open source. (IE: DoD is free reign for the HL community)

actually i don't whine when anyone takes a model from one intended platform to another. eg the Automag done by Toutin that i skinned for FA which was converted to CS. did i care? nope why? because my work and toutins were credited. which is exactly what i intend to do here. not only will i make it available for DOD but also within the BF1942 forums in 3ds format and a BMP file. simple.

To answer a question that was asked earlier;

Model: The 3D object that one builds in order to have the illusion of a physical body within the digital space.

Mesh: Commonly used to refer to the data which assigns areas of texture to the model. Since one usually makes a mesh before making a texture, the mesh becomes the texmplate for the texture by mapping out where each piece of texture will go on the 2D surface of, in this case, a BMP texture file.

Skin: The texture, itself, which is applied to the model via the mesh to make it look like the actual object the model is supposed to represent within the digital space.

I hope that explains it clearly enough. If you have any further questions, I'm sure I or someone else will be able to answer.

ah right, I wasnt thinking in enough shades of grey for defintion. TY for fixing the confusion.
