I'm assuming you're modelling in MS3D, use the texture coordinator, group things, use the tab to pick a side, hit remap. Print screen, copy into Photoshop or some program of the sort, resize to 512x512 or a lower multiple of eight, (16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256) add the material, click the 'None' button, find your image, apply, size in the texture coordinator. After this is done, go to the skinning part, makesure you save as a *.bmp, indexed color.

*Takes breathe*

well i know about that, and how to do that, but if i do the remaping like that, then some of the textures will be streched (correct me if im wrong)... anyway my friend who will be making the skin for me, told me that a mesh is like where it is unwrapped per se... Meh... i will try what i can...

Try searching for a program called Lith UnWrap. I don't mesh myself but I've heard from those that do that it's a pretty good program to use. I'm pretty sure they'res some free trial version out there. Try checking the sticky threads at the top of this form, they may have some links.
