3.1 Weapon models with 1.0

I experimented, and so far, 3.1 models SEEM to be full compatable with 1.0!! Which is great, because I'm not fond of the standard weapons at all. Garand and BAR anims need to be fixed, adding the butt stroke for the Garand and bipod for BAR, otherwise, they work fine

Think you could work on the Thompson and Springfield too?:)

What about Nomad + Poly's Garand with a bayonet(having the anims be a rise and then a downward strike instead of a jab, it's so much cooler to lift the rifle up and then bring the bayonet down), or another buttschmack anim where you go baseball with the rifle and swing it:D

nomad with poly's skin would be splendid

although it would be great if someone would make (or finish :D) a new garand some time soon.

Realistic? They look cartoonish to me, personally. Anyway, I'm not a modeller. I can't convert a blessed thing!

Eh, I think the 3.1 Garand, Thompson, and springfield were more realistic. These new ones look deformed.

i love the new garand, and wont change it for anythign ever. the Thompson DEFINATLEY needs a change though. its so ugly, im not even gonna bother using it until there is a decent replacement, WITH the old animations on it.

i tried one with the old animations, but it just cuts off after inserting the clip, though maybe with some adjusting it would work....

But it won't work by just copying it from your dod3.1 folder to dod1.0 folder
