[MREQ] Pegasus Bridge (Part of it)

Been a while since I've been here :P

Anyways, I'm doing a pegasus bridge map (I know someone else was doing one, but I haven't seen it for ages). I have the basic bridge done, the only part I need is this: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/stephane.delogu/pegase7.jpg
Making that look good with brushes would be a bit hard, so I'm hoping someone can model it. If you want to try it, just say so and I'll get more reference pics (thats one of the better ones)

Oooh!

Competition!

I released para_pegasus when i lost the rmf file for the map, and found a older-build on my ftp by accident back several months ago.

Since then i've started my map from scratch with a new layout......

keep looking out for my updated dod_pegasus, soon :p

Oh yea, Jed - if you read this - Contact me!

Ah bugger. Hmm, I switched to Trillian so I dont know if thats why you cant get ahold of me

I only just discovered a bunch of Private Message on the DoD forum - seems the "pop-up new window" option doesnt "pop-up" as advertised.

As for that glider - urggh! First DoD model I ever did. It haunts me in the way grainy porno films in the past haunt all A-list celebrities. I was young, I needed the money!

I still have the crashed/uncrashed version, needs a good re-skin though - I must confess I've got a bit better since I made that model.

Cher [D3]Stukov mon ami,
make it with brushes. Otherwise you won't have the shadows.
And use the textures to get a high level of details ;)

Once and for all, the bridge was NOT called Pegasus until AFTER D-Day!

Yes, it was the Caen Canal bridge, along with 'horsa' bridge being called the 'river bridge' of the river orne......

The cafe did not have any sort of symbols of the 'pegasus bridge / 6th airborne' signs it has now........

I dont remember anyone actually saying these / the name was there before d-day, however if you say 'pegasus bridge' to anyone in the know, they know exactly what your talking of ;)

Oh yea, speadfreak / jed, try and add my to your contact list - 35964481 (and i know your models have got better - i use your airborne models :P

ah, I'd rather see Arnhem or the Ludendorf Bridge.
