Preview: DoD_Dream

Hi all

I just wanted to show my latest dod project:
DoD_Dream

The map is almost 100% done I only need to add some enties
and such around the map.

Comments, critisism are welcome.

Not bad, some texture allignment issues and one of the func_illusionaries isn't solid 255 but other than that looks fun. Maybe work on the architexture a little more like the roofs but not bad... GJ

Uhm.. do you have a mindreading device of some sort, cause that map looks like something Im making. Sigh, should scrap that idea I guess :p .

I have updated the screens.

I have fixed the brushes not being "solid 255".

I hope to have a playtest tomorrow of the map, but let the comments continue.. :D

Now that looks really good. Adjust some of the texture and you got a superb map, atleast for the looks....

For example the path and the surrounding grass doesnt look matching....

every single texture in that entire map is way too clean. they all need to be reworked

no offence, but your a juniour member for mroe than you post count.

The textures are fine seeing as they are exactly the same ones in the DOD .wad's

looks good. nice work hope ti plays well. teh pond si teh vary pretteh!

Great work man, dodmaps.com/.de will host a playtest for you if you want :).

One suggestion, on some of the tree textures beyond the hedges, they bend at 90 degree angles, it would look 10x better if you made the bends more rounded, cut both sides short and throw in a diaganol (i'm sure i mispelled it) brush.

Other than that, I love the lighting, textures, the ambience. :D

I'll try to fix the texture allignments.

What are the objectives, the gameplay?
First the allies need to blow up the town gate(s), and then take a "secret" document fra the axis and use the radio to transmit it to the allied HQ
