Standard window,door, person etc. specs

I was thinking that maybe should have a rough standard of what [medium sized]windows, doors, and crawlspaces should be. Thought of this when i was making windows, and i kept thinking they were kinda messed looking my windows kept being. Do you guys use prefabs to carve? Or just eye ball it?

Myself use prefabs, but im not very good at scaling even with a person sized brush right there, so i am always ajdusting and cant realy get it right.

The only thing i know, is that a standing person is 33w33l73h.

Ahh i found it. Wasnt in the first few searches before i posted. But when i did a search for height it came up the second time around(you only used height in your post and width 1). Anyway, I would like more specific measurments, as in "the window should be 40-48 units off the ground, 40-55 units wide, and 40-50 units off the bottom of the window". It helps, but what you posted didnt really give enough in my opinion. Thanks for the help though.

Any other measurments would be great.

The way i do windows is that they are roughly in real life always around your waist to chest height depending on building etc.
So I do them 42 units off the floor which is aound waist/chest height i think.

I do it by eye, but my problem is I make rooms the size they would be in real life, but in most levels, rooms and stuff are bigger than in life (for action/moving around etc) and i add in too many details :(

I usually do 40 units off the ground for windows and 48 if it needs to be higher, but I don't got above that.

The actual window size just depends on what you want for a type of house. You can do tall and skinny, short and wide, short and skinny, tall and wide and so on. But I usually don't make my windows any bigger than 48x48 units.

I usually make windows 48 units of the ground(I map with grid settings on 16 so this is the easiest one) and I make them usually 96 units high and 64 units width(xerent's window texture ^^)
